The WorldVentures v. MaVie lawsuit concluded November 25th with a settlement, canceling a scheduled December 2nd trial. WorldVentures initiated legal action in June 2018 against MaVie and Advanced Wellness Solutions. The company alleged unfair competition stemming from a breach of its confidentiality agreement with Advanced Wellness Solutions.
Advanced Wellness Solutions supplied nutritional supplements to both MaVie and Ariix. This arrangement placed Ariix in the middle of the dispute. WorldVentures also targeted several affiliates who had left for MaVie.
MaVie countered that WorldVentures misrepresented the lawsuit to pressure its former affiliates. Ariix escalated the conflict in December 2018, filing a counterclaim against WorldVentures. Ariix asserted that WorldVentures was in a "severe downward spiral" as a business.
In May 2019, several former WorldVentures affiliates reached settlements with the company. These agreements paved the way for corporate settlements between the involved entities. The matter is now resolved among WorldVentures, MaVie, and Ariix.
