Default judgment totaling more than $8.7 million has been entered against five Zeek Rewards participants accused of profiting from the collapsed Ponzi scheme. The court awarded the Zeek Rewards Receiver these sums against Michael Van Leeuwen, Darryle Douglas, Todd Disner, David Sorrells, and Trudy Gilmond. These judgments represent the amounts the Receiver alleges these individuals received as net winners from victim investments.
The Receiver is continuing to pursue final judgment against additional defendants. These include Jerry Napier, who faces a $2.3 million claim, and Darren Miller, against whom $2.1 million has been sought. Rhonda Gates faces a $1.9 million claim.
Claims also target Aaron Andrews, Shara Andrews, and their company Innovation Marketing LLC for $1.3 million. T. LeMont Silver and Karen Silver are named in a $3.1 million claim. Durant Brockett faces a $2.3 million claim. David Kettner, Mary Kettner, Kettner & Associates, and Desert Oasis International Marketing are named in a $1.2 million claim.
Jerry Napier had reportedly agreed to cooperate with the Receiver in mid-2015. This cooperation, however, did not result in a settlement.
Final judgments have now been recorded against Jerry Napier, Darren Miller, Aaron and Shara Andrews, and Innovation Marketing LLC. The court is expected to enter final judgments against the remaining defendants shortly. The Receiver's motion for entry of judgment was filed on December 8th, with subsequent orders issued on December 9th.
